For at least the months of March through May we will be holding an Installfest at the Escalante Community Center. Thanks to the fine folks at http://azloco.com/ for all their work getting this going.

The City of Tempe will help promote these events so we can hope for increased attendance and hopefully more converts.

The Installfest is co-sponsored by PLUG and the Ubuntu Arizona LoCo.

Who: Anyone who wants to see Linux or run it on their computer. Volunteers always needed, please e-mail your pledge for time.

Installations take 30 minutes to over two hours, please arrive within the first few hours.

We will also help with installing Free Software applications such as Firefox, OpenOffice.org, the GIMP, Blender and Inkscape on other operating systems.
