A woman without a handbag is like an artist without a canvas. Join the Women's Metropolitan Arts Council for a fabulously feminine fall fundraiser. This true girls' night out on September 25 features signature drinks, live entertainment and an auction of designer bags full of goodies.

"It's In The Bag" is a girls' night out. We will enjoy signature drinks and live entertainment while admiring and bidding on all of the fun-filled bags. A Live Auction will showcase the most valuable and coveted items. The name of the event comes from the concept that all auction items will be in a thematic bag. Silent auction offerings will range from a designer evening bag filled with cosmetics, theater tickets, limo service and hotel accommodations, to a backpack with hiking gear, to a designer wallet loaded with gift cards to a wide variety of stores, to a custom diaper bag paired with designer baby items and toys. There will even be a raffle for the ever coveted Money Bag. This event promises to be a true bag bonanza. This is a no-guilt fundraiser because whether you "bag" a superficial indulgence or bid on a "green" bag packed with practical household items it is all for a great cause.
